Swim Lessons

Little LouLou was quite afraid of anything to do with water when we first got her. We gave her long baths and gently carried her into the water on calm days, but she would never have any of it and would quickly take off for the nearest shore or dry spot.

Yesterday, we had a bit of a break through as we went to a calm beach that was dog friendly. There are these warm puddles of water that are very shallow that LouLou warmed up to after a while, but she really made her water discovery when she willingly went swimming into the moving water! She then proceeded to swim circles around us and chase shadows. While this water was much warmer and shallower than most beaches, this is certainly a start! I like to think that one day Zoe and Athena are making some great progress in their swim lessons and little Lou will be paddling furiously right behind them.
